Conspicuous tuning at any price has never been the philosophy of ABT Sportsline. The Bavarian tuning company does rather rely on top quality, innovative thinking and elegant looks. Often, such cars leave a breathtaking impression, as you can also see in this uptrend edition. And the magazine features a lot of interesting people, exciting stories and pictures of cool events, too.
Right in time for the start of the new motorsport season, DTM (German Touring Car Masters) is also a topic in the latest uptrend. The lead story and cover’s colour says it all: after a brief “time-out”, the ABT motorsport team wants to see a comeback. Five championships, 39 wins, the most successful Audi team – these facts are all very well, but certainly no reason to rest on one’s laurels. The main characters and all the new stuff the series has to show this year are presented on no fewer than twelve pages.
And readers will also meet an old acquaintance. Last December, uptrend dedicated its title page and lead story to Felix Baumgartner and his sky dive. The Red Bull has long since been “down to earth” again and is now on the road as a Volkswagen ambassador in an ABT Touareg. But these are only two of many unusual stories about people, technology, sports and life as such. The new uptrend also features articles on, for example, young and innovative winemakers in Germany, and, based on a very readable and a recommendable book, tells the stories behind songs like “Yesterday“, “Candle In The Wind“ or “Rehab“ and presents the up-and-coming Hollywood actress Adrianne Palicki (“G.I. Joe 2“).
It goes without saying that the new uptrend edition is not only available as a print copy but also for free again as an interactive HD version for your iPad. Lifestyle made mobile...
