The segment of small SUVs is booming and also has a worthy representative in the premium segment with the Audi Q2. The compact SUV, which was first presented in Geneva in 2016, immediately convinced buyers in the same year with its unique design, high level of quality and wide range of engine options. Three gasoline and three diesel engines are available as production models. The power range starts at a reasonable 116 HP in the basic model up to an opulent 190 HP. With our ABT Engine Control (AEC) unit for the 2.0 TDI, we make a rare exception by choosing the two liter diesel engine over a gasoline unit as the highest powered version. But additional performance kits are already in preparation.
ABT Power takes the performance of the “big diesel” to 215 HP and 440 Nm. The rich torque provides clearly more powerful acceleration than the already very fast production model. When it comes to the suspension, ABT Sportsline also offers options for optimizing appearance and handling. The ABT suspension springs allow lowering of up to 40 mm. Rims as well as complete wheel sets in different versions from 18 to 20 inch are available for turning any Audi Q2 into a highly individual ABT Q2. The extensive warranty services ensure that with all these options for individualization, ABT customers do not have to go without the reassuring feeling of safety.
