ABT with two Lamborghini in 24-hour classic
Double dedication on the legendary Nordschleife: At this year’s edition of the 24-hour race, ABT fielded two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2. The international team of six drivers was led by reigning DTM champion Mirko Bortolotti. It was already ABT’s twelfth appearance in the 24-hour classic.
The team delivered a strong performance and was in contention for top positions over long stretches. Both Lamborghini stayed in the leading group for a long time and fought deep into the night for a podium finish. In the end, technical defects in the final phase prevented an even better result – nevertheless, ABT brought one of the two cars home in fifth place.
TWO TEAMS
ONE GOAL

#27
Car number 27 competed in the striking Red Bull livery, just like in 2024. Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper and Dani Juncadella fought their way up to sixth place after a setback in qualifying and several challenges. However, about an hour and a half before the end of the race, a technical defect forced the trio to retire.
#28
The black Lamborghini with car number 28, already a fan favorite during the 2023 comeback, returned to the Nordschleife in 2025. Christian Engelhart, Luca Engstler and Marco Mapelli were on podium pace until half an hour before the finish. A technical defect prevented a secure third place, so the team ultimately finished the race in fifth.
PARTNERS
STRONGER TOGETHER

HISTORY & SUCCESSES
FROM NATURAL GAS PIONEERS TO THE PODIUM

The 24-hour race 2025 was ABT’s twelfth appearance in the endurance classic. The debut was in 1999 with an Audi A4 quattro powered by natural gas – the race with the innovative drive concept was a little sensation at the time. This was followed by outings with the Abt-Audi TT-R from the DTM, the Audi R8 LMS and the Bentley Continental GT3. The best results so far were two second places in the 2003 and 2009 editions.
