As a tribute to our 130th anniversary, we are producing a machine limited to 130 units, which combines Italian motorcycle artistry and German engineering passion to create an uncompromising statement of performance. Two nations, two legends, one machine. For decades, MV Agusta has stood for motorbikes that you don’t just ride, but feel in every fibre of your being. For 130 years, ABT Sportsline has stood for refinement that goes far beyond the obvious – and now proves that this philosophy works just as well on two wheels as it does on four. The result – the Brutale 1000 ABT – features a distinctive colour scheme in Nero Carbonio Metallizzato and Rosso Fuoco – precise, aggressive and unique.
At the heart of the Brutale 1000 ABT lies MV Agusta’s 1,000cc inline-four engine – revised, tuned and fine-tuned to perfection. New camshafts, refined engine management and a shorter final drive ratio make the engine more responsive and direct than ever before. In the standard version, it delivers 201 PS at 13,500 rpm. With the included racing kit – an Arrow Titanium slip-on with four tailpipes and dedicated ECU mapping – power increases to 208 PS at 14,000 rpm. Add to this a chassis based on Öhlins components with electronic control, forged wheels for maximum agility and a braking system with Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers, which brings track-ready precision to every braking manoeuvre.
On both sides of the motorbike, the graphics tell the story of the extraordinary partnership: on one side, the German flag with the ABT slogan “FROM THE RACETRACK TO THE ROAD”; on the other, the Italian flag with MV Agusta’s “MOTORCYCLE ART”. A visual dialogue between German precision and Italian craftsmanship – cast in carbon fibre and sealed with clear lacquer.
19 carbon fibre components with a plain-weave finish – including the front mudguard panels, airbox cover, dashboard trim, internal air ducts, fuel tank side panels, redesigned underbody panels featuring MV Agusta and ABT branding, projection covers, front spoiler, heat shields, the carbon rear wheel cover, and engine and gearbox covers.
A seat upholstered in Alcantara SOFT with a honeycomb pattern. A carbon rear wheel cover, inspired by turbofan wheels from motorsport – which not only makes a visual statement but also actively reduces aerodynamic turbulence. Every detail of the Brutale 1000 ABT is an expression of a shared conviction: that an exceptional vehicle must impress from every angle. And anyone who owns one of the 130 individually numbered machines receives everything that goes with it in the exclusive Ownership Package – from the racing kit to the certificate of authenticity.
