With the RS3 630, the Kempten-based tuning company brings its expertise to the road in a particularly compact and agile package. The ABT POWER R performance upgrade boosts the turbocharged five-cylinder engine to approximately 463 kW (630 PS) and 700 Nm. This is made possible by the use of a turbocharger and an intercooler, as well as an engine modification that includes water-ethanol injection—the so-called IWI system.
IWI stands for Indirect Water/Ethanol Injection, a system that injects water and ethanol before the engine’s throttle valves. A specially developed electronic control unit meters the mixture precisely according to load conditions and engine speed. The result is a noticeable cooling effect inside the combustion chamber: The cooler the intake air, the more oxygen is available for combustion. As a result, the engine delivers consistently high power even under full load for extended periods without the electronics throttling back for safety reasons. Especially for the five-cylinder turbo—whose production is set to end in the foreseeable future—the IWI system thus serves as the technical foundation for once again unlocking the engine’s full potential. The IWI system and with it, full performance can be conveniently activated via the myABT app, which is also integrated into Apple CarPlay and can thus be operated directly through the vehicle's infotainment system. The top speed of the RS3 630 is 300 km/h.
Visually, a gloss black carbon-fiber aerodynamics package underscores the RS3 630’s sporty character. The front spoiler, including the front blades, features the “RS3 630” logo, while the rear skirt insert with its matching emblem completes the rear-end look. Both components perfectly combine function and design, giving the RS3 an even more striking and dynamic presence.
The rear is rounded out by two dual exhaust tips in matte black, each with a diameter of 95 millimeters. They blend harmoniously into the overall look of the RS3 630 and add a striking accent that further emphasizes the sporty character of this special edition model.
To ensure that the RS3 630’s increased power is transferred to the road with confidence at all times, the vehicle is equipped with a coil-over sports suspension featuring individually adjustable compression and rebound damping. The suspension is tuned by experienced ABT technicians and is optimally designed to match the performance characteristics of this special edition model. In combination with sport stabilizers on the front and rear axles, the suspension noticeably reduces body roll, improves handling precision, and delivers a dynamic driving experience of the highest caliber without compromising the everyday comfort typical of ABT.
The 20-inch ABT HIGH PERFORMANCE HR20 forged wheels in satin gold add an exclusive touch and echo the golden anniversary look of the Trilogy. 245/30 R20 tires provide the necessary traction to confidently transfer power to the road.
Also the interior, bears the exclusive signature of the RS3 630. The front seats and center armrest feature custom finishes, creating a particularly premium atmosphere. Door sills with “RS3 630” lettering and atmospheric door-entry lighting add special touches the moment you open the car. The ABT start-stop switch cover and floor mats with the embroidered “RS3 630” logo round out the features, while the “1 of 30” emblem on the dashboard identifies each vehicle as one of only 30 in the world.

The RS3 630 is the second of three exclusive anniversary special editions that ABT Sportsline will unveil in 2026. Another vehicle will follow in the coming weeks.
The package price for the ABT RS3 630 is 58,000 euros, including 19 percent VAT. In addition, there are installation costs of 9,500 euros, including 19 percent VAT, as well as the TÜV inspection. Sales are scheduled to begin in July 2026.
