The finale of the anniversary trilogy
1,000 hp in an SUV. Not just a figure to marvel at, but the result of 130 years of engineering expertise from Kempten.
At the heart of the last of the three anniversary models lies the 4.0-litre V8 biturbo from the Audi RS Q8. With the ABT Power R performance upgrade, ABT boosts the power output from 441 kW (600 hp) or 471 kW (640 hp) to 736 kW (1,000 hp)*. This is made possible by the installation of an ABT turbocharger and ABT intercooler, as well as a complete engine conversion including water/ethanol injection (IWI system). The system cools the engine from the inside, creating more space for charge air and thus ensuring consistently available power even under the most extreme loads. It is conveniently activated via the myABT app, available for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Carbon meets gold. Wide-body meets performance.
The aerodynamics package in matt exposed carbon fibre is applied consistently from start to finish: front apron extensions with optimised airflow, bonnet inserts, wing-width extensions for the striking wide-body silhouette, mirror cap extensions, B-pillar trim and a rear wing with aeroblades. Wheel arch vents in gloss black and the ‘RSQ8-LE 1000’ emblem badges add the finishing touches.
Contrast is provided by the 23-inch ABT HIGH PERFORMANCE IR23 FlowForming wheels in satin gold, fitted with 295/35 ZR23 tyres. Gold on carbon – the colour scheme of the entire anniversary trilogy, thought through to the very end.
The ABT stainless steel exhaust system with four 105-mm tailpipe trims provides the acoustic finishing touch. The V8 sounds exactly as a V8 should.
An interior with character
The ABT steering wheel in Alcantara, featuring paddle shifters and a gear knob cap in matt exposed carbon fibre, forms the direct link between driver and vehicle, complemented by gear panel and seat frame trim in the same finish. The front seats bear the ABT and RSQ8-LE logos, whilst the door sills feature the lettering ‘RSQ8-LE 1000’. The door lights project the anniversary logo onto the floor.
The centre console creates the most personal touch: it houses the ABT anniversary coin, flanked by a bespoke engraving of the respective vehicle number. Number 1 of 30. Number 17 of 30. Every vehicle is a documented one-off.
Up to 320 km/h – with the right infrastructure underneath
The top speed is increased to up to 320 km/h. The ABT Body Control System, comprising ABT Level Control and ABT eAWS, ensures that this performance is safely transferred to the road at all times. The eAWS is an adaptive roll stabilisation system which, via servomotors on both axles, switches continuously between a comfortable long-distance setting and sporty cornering dynamics – resulting in noticeably less body roll and a driving experience that is unrivalled in this vehicle class.
MyABT App
1000 HP with the myABT App
The ABT IWI system – and with it the full power output of 736 kW (1,000 hp) – is activated via the myABT app. It also provides all relevant information about the IWI system: system status, IWI tank level and other engine-related parameters.
